They collapse against each other, sated, their breathing unsteady, hearts racing. Without losing their precious contact he rolls them to one side so they’re lying facing one another, his hand keeping her leg hooked over his hip, him still inside of her. The ties of her nightgown have come loose, and the thin garment hangs precariously off her shoulder, exposing one breast to his gaze and to his touch. He covers it with his hand and lazily trails his thumb over the hardened nipple as they both struggle to catch their breath.
“Was it to your satisfaction?” he asks, trying to control the panting in his voice.
She can only nod numbly, eyes fluttering shut and head rolling back as he casually brings her to the brink and back again.
God knows how they’d ended up here. She vaguely remembers storming out of the Great Hall, sick to death of Guy’s constant wounded spaniel act, finding yet another pleading note in her rooms from Robin asking for some favour or another, and hurling it in tiny pieces into the fire. She’d been quite prepared to find something breakable and hurl it against a wall, but she likes her few remaining possessions, and that would only have meant extra work for the already over-worked maids.
Instead she’d flung herself out into the halls of the corridor, her feet working at a furious pace until she came across a (non-guard, -Guy and -Vaisey) male, before proceeding to jump his bones in frustration.
