He bit his lip against any noises, pressing his cheek to Blackout's shoulder as the skin on his shoulders crawled, shoulders lifting then falling forward, blades seeming to shift apart slightly as they formed there. There was only a wince offered as they materialized; it was always easier to tuck them way, then to bring them out, it seemed and when it was finished he exhaled, relieved. Not so much pain this time, no-- just slight discomfort. Despite of all his complaining, he felt more complete wearing them.
He turned to kiss to where he'd pressed his cheek before, arms still tight around him, wings lifting some, ruffling their feathers, ready to be touched.]

He dropped his head to kiss the top of Eros' head, eyes on the wings lifted behind him. He hesitated for a moment, just looking, then brought his hands up and stroke, light but even, along their tops.]

Maybe there was just something in him that knew, then. Or maybe he was desperate for his approval, for his affection and they had gained him that. And maybe that's what made this all the sweeter; he'd let him toy with his wings before but he had not given him the free reign he offered now.
