I was just wondering, I have a idea for a fic where the first half would be one half of a god/mortal relationship dies even tthough the other does eeverything that he can think of to save them and then the second half would be the half that lived finding out that their partner had been reborned. Would this counts as a fic for this bang?

Question, can the story be about a main character that got killed off in cannon, and having like a dea ex machina where everyone believes he/she is dead, but he/she is actually alive and well and causing trouble for enemies or at least those hostile to her/his mission before his/her death?
