HELP!! wtf LJ?

WTF is wrong with LJ? Is there some memo I didn't get? Because I'm not getting my email alerts whenever someone replies to a comment I've posted on their entry, I'm not getting email alerts when someone posts a comment on one of my communities either.

The only alerts I get is from the message center, when someone posts a comment on THIS journal.

Oh, sometimes LJ is a bit of a pain and will not post things immediately, and you will sometime find a swarm of notifications in the inbox. (Sometimes after you have hunted down and responded to many of them quite tediously. Sometimes, it's something as simple as accidentally clicking off the send email notification on the preferences/profile page.

Sometimes it's just one of those things we'll never know.
