Sometimes I think you're a robot who can churn out amazing Jeff/Annie fics with the press of a button. Then I realized robots would look weird with hair and fingernails.

Lol sometimes my best comments come from my semi-conscious state of mind. I'm quite fond of this comment though since it's strangely true.

I like this very much. I think there's a perfect amount of jerkiness in Jeff, and the whole thing has so great UST.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked Jeff's jerkiness. I know if he was a person I knew in real life I would probably hate him a little bit but as a television character, his less-than-kind side is endearing to me. I dunno why. Maybe it's just Joel McHale.

I love this so very much.

You've done such a great job of keeping it in tune with the way they acted during the premiere...while giving the depth that I think a lot of us were trying to kind of extrapolate one way or another. But why bother when we can just get you to write it so perfectly!! As such, I'm choosing to make this canon in my slightly delusional mind, cool? :)

Seriously, well you're right that Jeff is kind of a jerk...it just seems right and it makes the kind of sense that's, well, just right. Conflicted and slightly dark Jeff is my fave Winger so no complaints here!

And you're going to do one for each episode? You spoil us. Can't wait to read!

I'm so glad you liked it!

Haha, until the show proves otherwise my slightly delusional mind is going to believe something like this happened.

And yup, that's the plan! The next chapter should be up really shortly.

Thank you again for the comment!

With as stern a look as he can muster he says, “Stay” and then moves back a few paces.

HA! This I want to see happen.

Annie looks perplexed as she takes in the disarray they’ve left behind on the desk, where it’s almost obvious what’s just happened.

“Leave it Annie,” he repeats and opens the door.

Aww. Boys can be so confusing. And double meaning much?

Overall, I could totally see this as the things we didn't see in the premiere. (And my shippy little brain will simply assume this *did* happen.) Brava, can't wait for the next installment.

Thank you!!

Yes, boys ARE confusing. This is why I both hate and love them.

Next update should be up soon!

I have such a crush on you because everything you write is so so perfect... This fits wonderfully with the Jeff we see and it fills in a lot of what I think we wish we could have seen. I really want to know how they end up walking into Anthro together, and this scenario works for me! :) Great tension and love that sense of melancholy, with a twinge of the unresolved. I especially love Jeff recognizing the palpable difference between his moments with Annie last year and this year. I hope those moments still lead to character growth for him, albeit in a different way. Great fic, looking forward to the next in the series!

Aww, you're so sweet. I'm really glad you felt Jeff was in character. I was worried people would be turned off by the way he sort of takes out his anger on her but it just seems like such a Jeff thing to do.

Thank you again for the comment!
