i always love reading your posts, they always seem to be filled with wise words. :) i had never stopped to wonder why the new year begins during such a cold and barren season, but what you've said seems to justify it very well. still, though, i'm one for warm climate and i can't wait for summer, haha.

here's hoping that this new year is better for both of us! i whole-heartedly agree about the grown-up thing; i wish everything would slow down! my sense of time is out of loop.

Thank you so much! Though really when I write I think I must sound really obnoxious and confusing. It's that idea that the things in my head can't possibly be able to translate very well. But it makes me really happy. :)
Also, oh my goodness your icon is just exactly how I feel this time of year! What a pretty icon.

You know, ever since I moved up north and started experiencing winters it gave me an appreciation for the summer. I think it's because they are so mild here. Living in Florida is was summer most of the year and I hated it. But now I really look forward to the summer so I think I can understand! Winter is so barren. :(

Thank you, I really hope the new year is kind to you all the way through.
Yes! It would be nice to have time to soak everything up. It seems to just speed by faster and faster. We need a time machine!
