There are so many things I like about this chapter. The way you've constructed hell, with its wacky concept of time, is great. I like that hell is busy and active and heaven, at least for Dean, is slow and desolate. That seems fitting with the show itself wants us to believe about those places. Dean's reaction to Ash's comment about 'the whole soulmate' business is lovely. I did wish there was some mention of Lisa and Ben - I wonder how your Dean feels about them and how they fit into the afterlife he's attempting to build with resoulified Sam.
I love that this story is so funny in moments - Sam and Jess' date-like amble around Hell, Cas and Ash explaining why the Egyptians are in control of judgment - but every funny moment is also a sad and serious situation underneath.
This is so awesome. I love Circadian Rhythm Hell with its downtime and kind of literal punishments. I love Jessica and the horrible guy in the bag that she murdered or whatever, looking forward to finding out just what. Dean breaks my heart, forced to avoid his sweetest moments because they have Fake Sam in them. He's just... amazing. And this Sam has that weird calm vibe, "So this is Hell, huh, okay," from early S7... And everyone is just right.
I'm so glad you're enjoying it :D Yeah, the bag monster initially had a very gloomy, depressing story, and then I wrote it and it just wasn't Jess. Hence the greatest diplomat of all times. Thanks for stopping by to comment!
