It's been a long time since the Martian visited the Nexus, back around the end of last year, actually. With a deep humming and swinging in the air, it materializes in the Nexus near a table that happens to have a radio on it.
"Ooooh! Radio! Radio! Yip-yip-yip-yip!" It knows exactly what this item is! Excited, it approaches the dial and starts to tune to various channels. It reaches one of the classical stations and sinks calmly in the air to the melodic tune, before switching to a jazz station and flipping its tentacles around a few times, trying to get in the groove. Failing this, if turns the dial again, and on comes static, pulsing gently with whatever background noise there is in the Nexus. It bounces to the deep beat under the quiet static happily as it turns to the rest of the room. "Nexus! Radio! Yip. Yip. Yip. Dance? Music?"
Today the Yip yip desires to know what kind of music you like. Alternately, you're welcome to try and dance along with it. Feel free to change the radio as you wish, it certainly won't stop you; but even for a Martian, it's familiar enough with Earth music to know what it does, and doesn't like.
