Davey only seems half-aware that he's even in the Nexus; he's flopped on a couch and appears to be feeling extremely sorry for himself. He's humming something under his breath. I went left I got right at some big hotel, there was a devil at the bottom of the wishing well...
After a moment he stops humming, though he doesn't get up. To no one in particular, he asks, "What do you do when someone you thought would always be there isn't anymore?" After a moment's hesitation, he adds, softly, "Someone you couldn't save?"
