It's easy for a man to disappear in the Nexus. Amidst the flurry of wacky and weird, one lone normal, baseline human is hardly worth noting. His clothes are fine but simple, his face handsome enough but not likely familiar, even his choice of bench seems designed to keep him uncharacteristically out of the limelight tonight.
But even as he lurks here in his near-forgotten corner, there's the slightest something in Jack Benjamin's posture, his movements, his very presence that says power and privilege as clearly as if it were rolled out on a red carpet below his feet. The man has lived and breathed superiority since birth; a change of scenery isn't near enough to erase that. Much to his chagrin.
"Where do you go when no one's watching? What do you do?"
