J's made an effort today to look smart and snazzy and all that jazz. Though it just doesn't quite compare to his friend who pretty much radiates sophistication. It doesn't matter all that much to J who knows he's more fun has his hands all over Liam. Liam accepts the manhandling, although he'll make an effort to keep things decent. Victor smiled at Liam, a little half-heartedly. She was out, finally, thank goodness! She was still looking skittish, a little pale, but she was doing her damn best to be social. "You," she said to Liam, "have no idea."

She glanced at J, acknowledged him, then considered skipping his question. Eh. Screw it. She was there, and she'd look like a jerk if she ignored him. "I don't like to do sappy and romantic. I mean, I'm not that kind of girl, you know what I'm sayin'? But I try to work on it, for Cole."

Ah. Victor. J... isn't sure what kind of face to pull. So he'll just smirk, hold Liam closer and make a wise crack. "I think romance and sap's dying out, Liam."

He should probably ask how she's doing too.

She laughed, but it was a quiet, skittering laugh. "I guess so. I'm just not very good at being romantic."

"It's not something you should worry about too much. It comes naturally when it comes." He gives J a kiss on the cheek, wrapping arms around him tightly, partially to demonstrate this natural romanticitude, but also as a warning to J. "Play nice," he mutters into his ear. "I'm glad to see you're out and about, Victor. Feeling all right?"
