There's a boy. He looks a little like someone else that frequents the Nexus on occasion, less a couple years and a few packs of disposable razors.

Robert Baldwin grins cheerfully as he throws himself into a cushy chair, pulling long blond hair out of his eyes.

"So what's this I hear about time going all screwy?"

That voice is kind of familiar. Possibly from that time that the New Warriors and GenX ended up fighting each other, then fighting together. Or it could be that he recognizes it from the guy with the spikes.

Either way, Jono tilts his head slightly. 'S the Nexus, mate. This sorta stuff happens all the time.

Though not that badly. Just a little because he's surprised. Oi! Gordon Bennet, Hermes. You'd've given me a heart attack if I had one!

"You're so cute when you do that." Hermes is completely incorrigible and should not, under any circumstances be corridged.

Jono rubs the end of his nose, looking faintly embarrassed. Yeah, well, ain't so easy to surprise a telepath, y'know? And Hermes was one of those minds he tended to shy away from looking too closely ate.

Jono can look as close as he'd like; Hermes' thoughts are well shielded.

"I'm a sneaky little rascal. Or so I've been told."

There are minds that even telepaths have trouble with. Jono saw it once and that was more than enough.

Now the expression shades amused. From all the stories I heard when I was in school, 'sneaky little rascal's what they call you when they're bein' nice.

"Aww, you'll make me blush you will." It's true. Hermes is blushing, right to the tips of his ears.

He reaches up, ruffling Hermes' hair. Nice to know I can get some of me own back. That's obviously for making him flail.

Oh noes! He's been be-ruffled. You know what this means, don't you Jono? More blushing and vaguely doofy looks.

"C-c'mon, I styled that." No, he didn't.

Jono's eyes turned up at the corners in his version of a smile. He doesn't mind the doofy looks in the least. And the blushing is amusing and kind of cute. But Hermes is good at that.

Well, awroight, then. I'll not do it again.

"I never said that, now did I?" Mwahaha. Yes, this is all part of his devious little divine plan. Clearly.

Now how do you know I won' refrain now outta spite? Oh, so amused.

Thought we already established that I ain't got one. Okay, physical heart, no. Metaphorical heart, of course he did. And it had been broken a lot of times. Awroight, awroight. No need to make sad faces at me.

"We should do something wonderful, spectacular, and of dubious legality."
