  There's nothing out of the ordinary about the teenager stumbling about the remains of a rotting temple - unless you're close enough to notice that his eyes are blue, a bit unusual for a Japanese kid, or care that his style of clothing looks quite similar to a certain someone.

Cue Bastet, a Bastet older than the one he knows. "Well, I'm sure I've been changed, my memory's a bit inconsistent at a point, so.."

"And I'm pretty sure I'm fine." Aahaha no. "What do you mean by inconsistent, Bastet?"

"Sort of a flash when I summoned a barrier after arriving one time, and I don't remember coming back this far." Which.. is headache inducing.

He couldn't help but smile. "Time travel's a bitch, isn't it?"

"...um." Hooooo boy. This is just the icing on the cake today, really. Quite something to wake up and find that the area around your home has become something akin to a rainforest, especially when you'd been bundled up against a cold chill the night before. Combine that with all the aging and de-aging and stuff APPEARING--yeah, Sarah's been a bit confused.

"I don't...I mean, I'm pretty sure nothing happened to me? 'Cause the people I stay with haven't said anything, and..." Augh, she's gonna get a migrane at this rate. "You're the first person I know is wierded up."

"...What? I'm fine." He stares at Sarah for a moment. Clearly, this whole mess has gone to her head. "You're the one who looks a little young."

"I--n-no, I'm pretty sure you're the one that's too old..." Dude, wtf. "Unless the majority of my everyday life has decided to jump back with me, um..." Poor girl. She doesn't know what to think.

"I... didn't think it could do that. Maybe it can. Shit. How old do you think I should be?"

The face and voice were definitely familiar. The hair colour and height... not so much. The first could be faked but the second is what convinced Alec to stop shooting furtive, surly glances in Enzan's direction.

"As far as I can tell, I don't think I've been affected. I remember everything that I should and I haven't seen anything out of place. Yet. Who knows if that really means anything."

He looks about at the crumbling, decaying ruins.

"So this isn't the typical Nexus strangeness?"

"So can I, and apparently I could be." Enzan grimaced and poked at a statue with one finger. It crumbled immediately, much to his horror.

"Not usually. It doesn't happen on this scale very often, at least."

Alec took a step back to avoid the scattering debris of the statue.

"Hn, I thought things seemed rather manic but... it really is hard to tell around here."

He almost perched on a nearby wall, but thought better of it when it started to shed little pebbles before he even touched it.

"Do you think it's another one of those temporary things that could pass? Or the sort of thing that needs a nudge to right itself?"

"I really, really hope so. It would suck to actually be thirteen - again - but it would suck even more to be stuck being eighteen when I was supposed to be thirteen."

He rubbed his head with a frown. "It almost hurts thinking about it."

"Let me guess." Sigh. "I'm supposed to be thirteen to you too?"

He smiled. "They're not visible."

He wears long sleeves for reasons, you know.

"I have a headache." He's on a desk with his feet propped up on it, leaning back with his eyes closed.

None of those things were there a minute ago.

What the - no fair using the Nexus screw-ups to do a Bat thing. For that, Enzan's going to drape himself on Terry's shoulders.

"But you look good for your age," he teased.

"You look young for my age."
