Lord knows when it went up, but it's there now; it came from a corner of the Nexus that's a little darker, a little less inviting than the areas around it, and whoever put it up is nowhere to be found.
It's easy to forget how young a lot of Nexus people ARE, given that most Nexus people have experienced great and unusual trauma by the age of six, so maybe, to some people, 15 isn't really that young--but Brody is (was?) honestly still a child. His naked body is hanging limp from a eight-foot crucifix, suspended at the wrists by ropes and nails. He's been brutalized, covered in bruises and cuts, a veritable all-you-can-eat buffet for vampires.
The writing on his body explains everything pretty clearly. '666', he's been labeled. It appears to be carved into his skin, along with, on his back, a metric fuckton of what appears to be passages from Revelations, in Greek. It's ridiculous and over the top; someone was clearly making a statement and it doesn't take a genius to figure out what it is.
Was Brody the antichrist? All signs seem to be pointing to 'yes'.
Perhaps his question is 'eloi eloi lama sabachtani?' Or, perhaps, 'can I get some pants?' These questions and more, to be answered later! Same Christ channel, same Christ time.
