Benevolent Christmas spirits are rampant, if a little delayed, in the Nexus here lately. Our dear friend Theta Lou Who is back - with his typical surrounding radius of inexplicably drifting snow. "Very classic." Theta Lou hands Static a brightly-colored bag of traditional Christmas treats: candy canes, gingerbread men, and an orange, tied up top with some curling ribbon.

"Why, Christmas Spirit, of course!" Santa laughs... then gives Theta Lou a basketball.

Theta Lou blinks, still mildly disconcerted by the presence of ... Santa Claus. Then he gingerly takes the basketball, and hands the jolly old elf a brightly-colored bag of traditional Christmas treats: candy canes, gingerbread men, and an orange, tied up top with some curling ribbon.

"I don't really remember my actual first gift," Lily says thoughtfully. She looks much more cheerful, clad in a red sweater, a very short green skirt, white stockings and foot-hugging gold moccasins, and she pads cat-footedly (that is to say, silently) over to perch herself on Theta Lou's knee. "But, the first one I remember...was my very first line shield. It was a light-element one," she says, and smiles fondly at the memory.

Getting a shield as a first gift - well, first remembered gift - is a little unconventional, but Theta Lou supposes it's the thought and memory behind it that really counts. "Sounds very nice," he offers cheerfully, giving Lily one of the brightly-colored bags of traditional Christmas treats: candy canes, gingerbread men, and an orange, tied up top with some curling ribbon.

"It was very nice," Lily smiles, and accepts the bag. "Thank you~"

Umm... probably, I think... it was either a toy bear *that was what Beast Boy got, actually* or... a book.

The second toy bear of the occasion. Theta Lou hands Changeling a brightly-colored bag of traditional Christmas treats: candy canes, gingerbread men, and an orange, tied up top with some curling ribbon.

Sephiroth considers the question. "I am...not sure. I am happy with what I have, though..." He hesitates, then lowers his voice, a little embarrassed. "I wish I could have met my real mother, not an alternate."

"You never know what kind of Christmas miracle might happen," Theta Lou drawls slyly, handing Sephiroth a brightly-colored bag of traditional Christmas treats: candy canes, gingerbread men, and an orange, tied up top with some curling ribbon.

Sephiroth smirks wryly. Miracles? Only in the Nexus, he thinks. But he doesn't say this out loud, accepting the bag. "Thank you."
