With a rumble and a grumble, a series of strange portals opens and out come a few new friends. Don't you want to come and play?
» 40' centipedes with no eyes and giant, 100-legged, armour-shelled
centipedes with no eyes but very good heat-sensing and smell. Moreover, these little bastards, can dig like no one's business. They're mildly poisonous (enough to make
you clumsy), and about as smart as a cockroach.
» Jurassic Park velociraptors, possibly others.
» Night of the Living Dead zombies: these fellows do not spread zombie-ism with their bite, are slow, mindless and carnivorous, and can only be destroyed by damage to the head.
» Gremlins: from the movie, cunning but not very bright, mischievous but mean-spirited and violent. Water causes them to sprout off new gremlins. Sunlight kills them.
» Blobs: small, up to dog-sized, exceedingly carnivorous amoebas, repelled and killed by cold or Steve McQueen. They smell faintly of strawberry jell-o and gravy mix.
» Corrupted wolves: deformed, deranged canines, with glowing green or red eyes. Anyone who can speak to wolves will find them incomprehensible and mad beyond reason. They reek of gasoline, pollution, or other nasty chemicals. Possibly cunning, possibly stupidly violent.
» Heat vampires - intelligent but entirely single-minded undead things which aim to drain the heat from living victims via touch.
» Rats - hoard of rats! Starving, but the most biddable of the bunch, as they are normal rats. Except for rats who may also happen to be giant rats. Dire rats, even.
» Crows - really, really angry crows. They are angry at you.
