Suddenly, from a portal in the Nexus, hundreds of spirits come pouring out aimlessly. Where do they come from? Why are they here? Who knows, but an unlucky individual might just happen to provide the perfect host body for one of these confused -- or perhaps quite clear-thinking -- spirits. However, he suddenly stops. Not having spiritual powers as part of his grab bag o' powers, he cannot sense the spirits, not even long after he's been claimed by one.
The look on Peter's face registers as horror, and then he squeezes his eyes shut, clutches the sides of his head, and screams.

He suddenly stops in his tracks, dropping the soccer ball he'd been holding. He looks at his hands, then runs one of them through his hair, looking confused and then...realization slips onto his face. Almost as an afterthought, he grabs the soccer ball and walks back the way he came, head held high and with long, confident strides.
He looks like he should have a katana at his side, for some reason...
