From the mists, a huge zeppelin suddenly appears, slowly descending to the ground. There's an eery, otherworldy feel to it, as if it were ethereal without actually being so. Upon landing, a door opens in the gondola, and out emerges a skeleton. He is jovial in appearance, with colorful markings on his face that indicate his nature as a calavera

York stares at the group with something akin to surprise. But then he spots someone and yells in glee (surprise?) "Allie? Hey! Allison!" He takes off to catch up to a woman in black armor.

Yeah, he'll be busy for a while. A long while. Call it a reunion under less than optimal conditions. But it's a reunion none the less.

Why he walks anywhere in the nexus and doesn't just apparate, don't ask him. A man's got to...save his strength or whatever. Regardless, he STAUNCHLY IGNORES all derigibles and/or masses of the dead, having had more than enough of the latter to last him the rest of his existance.

The voice, that one he knows so well, comes from behind him. Just as it often did, that dark, insidious voice seems right next to his ear, though this time the man himself is a few steps away.

He doesn't freeze. He is proud of himself for that. He does spin as he walks, turning his advance into a retreat. Freezing might have been more dignified, but the fact that it isn't his first instinct is why he's still alive.
