Sora bounces into the Nexus, his usual exuberant self. "So it's been a while and I'm actually feeling kind of bored. If anyone needs help I would be all over it." Sora grins from ear to ear. "Otherwise, would anyone like to spar for fun? I'm not really into the whole kill thing ( Read more... )

"I would be interested in a sparring match, although at some point tomorrow if you'd still be interested then."

"As for what makes people good or bad, we could be here all night."

"Mmhm! Any time, really. So long as we don't get into the killing thing. I hear there's some creepy people in the Nexus, I don't want any of them to get the wrong idea." He grins, clearly excited.

"You think so?" Sora's used to a pretty black and white world, even if his best friend is slowly changing that perception.

"Well, I certainly have no intention of killing anybody," within the next twenty-four hours, "so shall we meet at say, three pm?"

"Oh yes, there are many different definitions, depending on who you ask."
((Should I make a journal post for the fight?))

"Haha, good because I have no intention of dying." Sora smiles, nodding. "I think that'll work."

"Huh. I guess I never considered that."
((Sure thing. I'm on PST and work til 2:30 in the afternoon but am otherwise pretty available. :D))

It all depends on who you ask. Perception and beleif are the main forces that create good and evil. There are those to whom death and ruin are good--that is their beleif.

"So they might think they're good...but others might think not?" Sora headtilts.

Exactly. And if you're in a position to do something about it, you have to decide whose greater good to work for--theirs, or someone else's entirely.

Sora frowns slightly, thoughtful. "Do you really have to decide at all? Maybe you can just do what you think is right...right?" Sora sure hopes so.

"I can't say that I need any help today, boy - the school is relatively quiet, classes are running smoothly... But I'll be certain to keep it in mind."

Professor Abelard looks over the rims of his glasses at Sora, then reaches back to fiddle with the weapon on his back.

"What style do you fight in? If I may impose.."

"...Classes?" Sora looks at Auron, clearly confused. "Uh. Auron?" He blinks at the man.

"Come on! Quite teasing!" He laughs a little nervously. "You know I fight with my keyblade..." Unless the Nexus is doing one of those alt things on Sora again.

Auron.. no, Professor Abelard offers Sora the Eye of Doom that some of his students get when they forget themselves in his Defense Against the Dark Arts course. It is a scary and powerful thing!

"... I don't believe we've met, boy. If you haven't been Sorted yet, you're probably looking for that other version of myself that's about and around. I've only seen him briefly."

Another pause, then he asks curiously.

"What is a 'Keyblade'?"

Sora is certainly scared! He shrinks a little, looking regretful. "...Alternate. Uhm." He laughs nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "S-sorry!" Auron can be scary, oh yes.

"...What's sorted? I'm, uhm, friends with a different you. I met him in the Underworld." He shrugs a little, rocking on his heels.

"It's this." Sora relaxes a little and fwoosh, there's the keyblade in his hand. He gives it a few demonstration swings, showing off.

"Hey shor-oh wait, you're not the Sora I met," Soma shrugged. "Good evil, they're kind of stretchy words, but a lot's gotta do with why - usually serving yourself at the expense of others is a good sign the act's pretty evil, though some things like genocide is pretty evil, no matter the motive,"

Sora nods. "Yeah. My other friend called them rubber words which seems pretty accurate."

"Uhm...help? Unless you'd want to help me go get some things, I don't think I need anything." She grins to Sora and waves eagerly in greeting. "Nice to see you again, Sora!"

"I guess it's more of a feeling you get than anything. Good and bad depend on the person, you know?"
