it is an SMU tradition now that the sunday before finals everyone gathers outside our main building, Dallas Hall, the first building of out University, and we sing christmas carols, the President of our University reads the Christmas Story, and all the lights are lit. Here is my first experience of Celebration of Lights.

Is it cold enough to merit scarfs in Texas?

That is adorable. If they tried to do that at UGA, I'm pretty sure it would be some sort of fire hazard, even if we all Were outside...

dang!! that made me think of christmas in the oaks, which made me really upset knowing it might not be opened this year :(
