This is what I get for wanting to RP on a new server...
Dear Roleplayer I've met on my new server,
Because you asked me in a whisper (and I'm too nice for my own good), I told you within five minutes of our characters meeting that she was not "looking for a boyfriend," that she, in fact, doesn't go for men at all. (I'm not even going to touch the whole "She's a Paladin/He's a Death Knight fiddling with FEL MAGIC.") I knew better than to continue RP at that point, but you seemed disappointed yet fine with it and since you said you were new to the server too, I thought you were okay with roleplaying a possible IC friendship. Your back story, while a little implausible, was intriguing enough that I wanted to hear a little more anyway and see how you handled it.
So last night when you talk to me in whispers during some casual roleplay and mention something about how the guy never really gets the girl, I kindly make mention of how, again, my character doesn't like men. Period. You got emo in whisper and say, "So my guy doesn't have a chance with her at all?" Not. Cool.
RP is not a single's club, okay?
