I was so frustrated by that point. We dominated possession. Actually the whole match pretty much took place in Sunderland's half. So if we hadn't found the net, then that would have not said too great things about us.
Vital, vital 3 points. Puh. And yay for Mike who deserves it so. And yay for Rafael and Evra who ran their hearts out. Wazza, too.
Agree, every game is just as important. I went mad when he scored, I was jumping all around!
Oh yes, it was really unfair that we couldn't score. But then Sunderland did play with 11 men behind the ball, so I guess it was difficult to break them down.

I don't think it was unfair. Yes, they defended with 11 men but of course, they did. Many teams do so as champions it's still up to us to crack them. We definetely should have scored earlier. But well. The result is what counts. Yup.
LOL me too! I clapped my hands so loudly that I nearly woke the whole house up! Since it was like 1:00 AM I doubt they would have been too happy!
I thought it was unfair because we were clearly the better team. I agree with you though, it's up to us to break them down, and if our attackers had been better at finishing we would definitely have won it by 3-4 goals.
Oh god. As I'm sure you've gathered, I'd had something to drink when I was watching and I was surrounded by a Real Madrid fan, a Valencia fan and a Barcelona/Liverpool fan... and even thought they're dear and I love them and they were trying to be supportive they didn't really want our boys to win very much. So when Vida scored I really burst out crying xD ♥ ♥
