Hello everyone!

God, I'm exhausted! It has been a terribly hectic week. We had to present a seminar in college, and I'm so glad that it's over! Really, it's exhausting to research a completely new topic. And to sit and listen to 70 other people talk about some other completely new topics that you've never heard of(and you realise why you've never ( Read more... )

Woah. That sounds like quite a week. Unfortunate that most of the topics were so boring because this could have been fun. Though - well in my school and university experience most presentations are done so horribly that you'll have to fight to keep your eyes open after ten minutes.

And yeah, if it was a toss up between the Cup and the CL... *ducks with you*

What makes me a bit nervous is Rio saying that he doesn't think the outcome of tomorrow will effect the league. It sounds like...well, not too optimistic. Of course, it can't directly effect the league standing, that's clear, but for the team morale? Oh well.

So forget it and just murder Arsenal, okay boys? :)
I'm behind you on that one!!

Actually the topics themselves weren't boring, you're right in that it was the people that made it boring. But I can't blame them, this was the first time we're doing something like this, so I guess everyone was nervous. And I'm sure they must have found me just as boring! Plus it doesn't help if you're cooped up in a dark class from 10:30 to 5:30....towards the end we were applauding loudly just for it to get over!

What makes me a bit nervous is Rio saying that he doesn't think the outcome of tomorrow will effect the league.
Did he say that? Agree completely, not good at all! The last thing the boys need is to lose to their nearest rivals. That would totally demoralise them, and just before Lyon too. No way! Forget about the rest, we so totally need to thrash them tomorrow! And make Cesc shut up.

Yeah, it does take practise to lose the nervousness and all. And dark class? That's just evil. I always dreaded lectures with powerpoint or anything which required the room to be dark as my brain instantly goes 'dark. great. Let's take a nap'. Heh.

He did. I guess, he is trying to get the pressure off their back but - zomg, he makes me beyond nervous. He also said, it was important for the team to win to regain their confidence but still. He gave them an out and it does not make me feel calm and all.
Cesc? What did he have to say? *glares*

Yeah, it was a powerpoint presentation, so we had to draw all the curtains. My brain does the same too, and I did catch a short nap in between! But the teachers were on hand to make sure no one slept for too long.

Hmm, yes it does seem like he's giving them an excuse. But then this is the same Rio who claimed that it wasn't possible for a team to switch on and off, that you had to treat all games equally, whether it was the Carling Cup or the CL. So I hope that he follows his own advice and does not repeat last weeks performance. Besides, I'm sure they must be terribly hurt by what is being said about them, and would love to prove to everyone that they are the best.

Cesc? What did he have to say? *glares*
Oh the usual. We are the best team in Europe, we've got tremendous team spirit, blah blah blah. He gets on my nerves! (Honestly speaking, our boys do the same, but they are allowed to. Cesc isn't. And I'm the most biased person on earth, and proud of it!)

Yeah, thank god I don't have any pending work left.

I'd hate to lose too, but I was trying to think on a bigger scale. But I've changed my mind, we really need to thrash them!
