Hey Deanna, long time no see. Its good to hear that you are doing well. I have a few friends living in the Irving area, and was up there this past October for a visit. I like the place and since I still have to live here in New Orleans, can completely relate to the whole "Not quite a good fit" situation. I have been reading some of the same types of books that you are into right now and wanted to drop a couple of suggestions. The first book by Terry Goodkind "Wizard's First Rule" was pretty good...skip all the ones after that, heh. Pick up "The Dresden Files" by Jim Butcher. Its one of my favorite series right now, and each one is a good book in and of itself. I have read the Paoilini books, and while I liked the first two, the last one didn't really impress me all that much. Let me know what you think of them. Hope things keep going better for you.
