Zhian'tara. For reference, the Trek episode that inspired this is DS9's "Facets."

In 4.02, Cas says, "Why do you think we're here walking among you now for the first time in 2,000 years?" to emphasize the seriousness of the situation to Dean - however, as we learn, angels aren't always perfectly truthful. They leave things out, or exaggerate things, and so on. And basically, Cas has had other vessels before Jimmy.Some of them have been pretty outstanding - one of the Biblical prophets, maybe? a mythological hero? John Milton? - and some of them have been… less than stunning (for instance, one of Dax's previous hosts, Joran Belar, was a gifted composer… but also an extremely dangerous and unbalanced murderer).
