This is one of my favourite scenes ever, never mind for this episode. I loved the big reveal of the Trickster being Gabriel, his insistence that Sam and Dean step up and play their roles, and most of all that Dean demands Cas back through threat of grievious bodily harm ( Read more... )

Is it wrong that I'm secretly hoping the writers will bring Gabriel back in S7? I know RSJ said he went out awesome, the way he should have, but ye gods, I miss him.

I would LOVE for Gabriel to come back!

I do agree that he went out in such an awesome manner, but it would be so very lovely to have him back. He's my second favourite angel!

Love how they ended this episode and the above pics are the reason why.

Dean might take advantage at times but he really does care about his nerdy angel in a dirty trench coat.

Definitely this!!

Heh, I always think Cas is the one who's got more... unique ways of showing his affection.

("Dean discovered that when Castiel threw him against the wall, what he meant was, 'I love you.'")

I think Dean and Cas are alike in that regard...neither are openly affectionate, they show they care through other means. Namely eye-sexing and angry words...

(And I love that quote xD)

One of my favorite episodes of season 5, for sure! (Next to 5x3, really).

It is one of mine too xD I loved that it is a funny episode that ends up being tied in with their big apocalypse plot. It was nicely handled :)

It was nicely handled. Funny, but with a point. I miss those kinds of episodes.
