So I've been nudged by ulysses_blue that it's been almost a year and a half since I made a post here. Oops, time flies whether you're having fun or not! The crazy thing is...I can't think of anything to say! Life is hard...there's nothing new to report. I wish I had something fun to look forward to. I wish the heat wave wasn't gonna reach my state

But I use my journal to post about fandom stuff (usually sometimes real life stuff sneaks in) so I can forget about all those hard things.

Thanks everyone...it's not really that life is worse, I'm just fed up and wish that things would change! I do have to thank God though that Pooky is much better, and his lump has shrunk a lot...hopefully his limp will finally start to get better now!

Hear you about wishing things would change, though. It's not easy to wait for His timing when you're barely scraping by! I'll be praying for healing at minimum.
As far as fun things to look forward to, though, have you checked out this year's sga_genficathon? I haven't read everything, but for a good laugh, I definitely recommend "Call Me Sheppard" and "Technically, Genetically (or Complete with Goatees)"--brilliant banter in both.

Sorry to hear that life has been treating you rather hard lately. :( I'm especially sorry to hear that you've been sick and don't have the money to see a doctor. :(

Thanks...I have a feeling it's my thyroid...my mother had hyperthyroidism when she was in her 30's, (it's gone now) and my brother currently has the opposite, hypothyroid...I think mine is hypo too, I've been so fatigued and feeling horribly weak. Sucks, lol!

You do? Did you feel really fatigued and weak? I'll check around if there's anywhere who could do it...I sometimes go to a clinic that charges really cheap for a regular physical, but regular prices for blood tests, doh.
