I can relate. My mother and I are both packrats, and I absolved myself of putting away my toys and books by saving them for my unborn children. I have saved old, non-working lamps, anything that's only half-broken, and anything with the faintest hint of sentiment to it. Art supplies, other people's toys, broken crockery, things others left behind, I all kept, in one location or another, even furniture. I swear, my heart started to beat everytime I see something new popping up on craigslist that I could afford, no matter how crappy it was
