Can-Con 2012 update

It looks like something lit a fire under the Can-Con organizers; the site still looks like a refugee from the '90s (at least to me) and there remain a couple of dead guys, but the content has been beefed up, including an actual registration page

More I think about it, the more I like having Wells and Lovecraft in there as "patron saints" of a sort. Of course, if we could lay hands on a portrait of A.E. Van Vogt, that would be more appropriate to the home venue. He was an Ottawa resident, after all.

Perhaps if the con had a different focus, but they don't fit:

The Programming Team is busy working away at a schedule that will really focus on the cutting edge of science fiction, fantasy and horror. This will introduce Con-goers to some of the ground-breaking work that is being done in just the last ten years, works of short and long fiction that have been nominated for awards and works that are being talked about now.

For the love of something holy... the layout is terrible. ugh. At least the colours are good? Also, their facebook widget seems to be broken.
