I don't even have words, really. She was so brilliant as Sarah Jane. Just fantastic and lovely and amazing. She'll be missed.

I am devastated. School reunion is my all time favourite episode of Dr Who. And the "My Sarah Jane," moved me to tears the first time I watched it.

It moved me to tears again watching the clip. Such sad sad news, and what a courageous woman to continue to work while fighting cancer. An amazing role model.

Watching "School Reunion" will never be the same.

I really should watch Sarah Jane Adventures - although were those puppets left over from The Dark Crystal?

Those aliens are slightly dodgy, aren't they? I actually thought The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith was a really good Doctor & Sarah Jane episode, though it's Ten rather than Eleven. That screened in the middle of the specials, so it was nice to see the Doctor without the unremitting angst for a change...
