Well, it was already a crying sort of day and I was bawling by the time I finished this. Anakin's going to be bull-headed until the very end isn't he. Determined to push away any speck of goodness that could be in his life.

I felt for Luke. He saved his father but he still doesn't really have him as a father.

Excellent and touching story.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it would have been the best thing for Anakin to survive, because he'd have to deal with what he's done in the last few decades. Plus, he had some interpersonal issues before turning to the darkside...

Very creepy and lovely. Fascinating interactions between Luke and Vader. They say so much to each other, yet there's a rich layer of unspoken feelings beneath the surface of their words. So nice!

This was beautiful - in a dark, bittersweet way. Loved the interaction between Luke and his father - how it isn't easy for either of them. It's interesting to think that Luke (and Vader) would be worse off if he survived, but very understandable. Wonderfully characterised, as always.

Beautiful story. Your attention to detail is fantastic, and the interaction between Luke and Anakin is both extremely believable and touching in the sense of sadness to which both characters seem to have resolved themselves.

Thank you! :D It's my firm belief that if Anakin had survived, it definitely wouldn't have been all lightness and joy, as Luke seems to expect. Anakin has major, major issues. o.O
