I wish people wouldn't label their fics with things like 'Ben/Mara'. I DO NOT THINK THAT MEANS WHAT YOU THINK IT MEANS. At least I really, really hope not. Although there were some strange Oedipal vibes to their relationship in Sacrifice*kills train of thought ( Read more... )

I used to label my stories Obi/Qui without realizing that meant slash. It just took up less space in the header.

As for Jacen and Jaina stories, I would think it would be hard to avoid Invincible spoilers. Are you planning on reading it? If so, I'd wait until afterwards to read the fanfic stories.

Yeah, the use of the '/' isn't such an issue somewhere like TFN. I just find it takes my brain to the wrong place when it's used in certain ways.

I've ordered Invincible, so will probably get around to reading it eventually. Funny thing is that there don't really seem to be many Jacen & Jaina sibling fics around anyway, that I've seen. Although I have been out of the loop pretty since before Invincible was released, so that could have changed.

Well, I don't go over into Beyond much so I can't say about the sibling stories. There might be more now that Invincible's out.

Of course, since I've now written Obi/Qui slash, it's more appropriate but initially I didn't mean it that way. LOL. However, Ben/Mara is just icky, icky, icky.

I used to do this too. I'd label Anakin/Padme/Yoda without realising that meant a threesome. :P

Well, there are a handful of Luke/Leia fics out there, and not in the sibling way. :p

I can't think of many Jacen and Jaina fics either, come to think of it.

I know! I stumbled across a couple way back in my fandom n00b days and was appalled. *g* The Luke/Leia in canon is bad enough, really. *shudder*

I read a decent one a couple of months ago, but it's all I've really seen, but I don't exactly go looking for fics in that time period, usually. *ponders*

I only use '/' to indicate a romantic pairing, and for everything else, well, that's why the comma was invented :P

I have a strange urge to read Jacen and Jaina sibling fic as well, but can't really be bothered to search for it. I'm sure it's out there - you'd think there would be a twin thread on TFN but can't recall one off the top of my head...

The comma can save any confusion, definitely. :p

And I don't really know where to start with finding Jaina and Jacen fic - that's actually decent, that is. I probably don't really want to read it enough to spend ages looking. *sigh*
