I think you've caught the agony of a loved one dying just perfectly - the almost glimpses, the longing for one more more, the anger at being left behind and having that anger morphing into grief.

I loved that Luke stayed for Ben's sake. I think Luke would have gone to her, otherwise.

Great job. Loved it.

Glad you liked. :D I was so annoyed about the distance between Luke and Mara before she died that I thought it might bleed into the story, and I didn't want it to end up uneven because of that, so I'm glad it came across in a natural way.

Wow, four years. Can't believe it's been that long since they killed Mara off. *sigh*
