Also, it's probably the same reason I'm single. You went to LA School where people were interesting, and now that you're in the "Real World" you find that people are actually rather boring and not much fun at all. Therefore, your pool is drastically narrowed, leaving you with a small selection of candidates who are either taken or horribly flawed in some way (redneck conservative, fanatic Muslim, flaming homosexual [not that there's anything wrong with being gay, they just don't do well in straight relationships], etc).
Dammit! When am I going to be SOBER? Hail the Soviets!

OK, seriously, who can say you're single? Dating is easy, relationships are not. You have to find someone decent who's interested in you, gets you, and has the time and ability to form a healthy relationship. It's exhausting. I'm tired just thinking about it...
