People who pay for cloning their pets are people who can't deal with the natural cycle of life and death. Just let the dog go.

I'm for cloning from a technological perspective, but never whole organism cloning. Dolly the Sheep died early from lots of physical problems that could've been related to the cloning procedure. Scientists can clone, but that's not actually saying they understand everything about the clone.
