The U.K.'s got some good studios. Tell her it's really tough, but it's all worth it in the end when you work with people that are passionate about what they do and you get to use such I wide array of disciplines and influences in your work. Ayn Rand's Objectivism and the Art Deco movement combined with gene splicing to make one of the best and most celebrated games of this decade. Mainstream movies and music are known as the most superficial of their medium...video games are one of the last places where the provocative, inspired and profound are also among the most successful. Any medium where the avant garde is also the mainstream is a good place to spend a career.
