Give her a tasty treat when you're done.

And maybe get her spayed.

Oh, my, yes! Get her spayed, if she's not already!

She is yet a small kitten type. That's coming. And as much as I hate to do it, I think she's getting declawed too. She is far too vicious to have a real way to fight.

Our cat eats anything, so we are able to sneak medicine into his soft food. Is that what you were doing and then she stopped?

As for not trusting you guys - that will go away with time. Well, I have no experience with feral cats, so take that with a grain of salt. I mean, the medicine won't be given to her for the rest of her life, right? You might have to terrorize her for a while, but when the medicine is gone then it might get better.

Sometimes it helps if you squirt the medicine into the side of their mouths (that was news to me, maybe the vet showed you how). It also might help to give her the medicine while she's on the counter. It's what they do at the vet, and then you can have some leverage on her. We figured that one out after chasing our huge cat around and wrestling him to the ground was getting too stressful!

We still need to get her spayed, but she's been so stressed out lately, it seems like it'd compound the problem to go through surgery. Maybe not? It is on our priority list, though.

And yes, the medicine will be given to her for the rest of her life, so we can't be wrestling her to the ground twice a day every day.

And thanks for the tips.

Oh, that's too bad about the medicine! What does she have that she'll need medicine forever?

Why the hell do you want to shock yourself on your own time?

I was joking in that way that makes people think I'm serious.
