[Still a bit surprised, but he smiles at her anyway]
Oh, of course I remember you, Megu...Miss Megumi.
[He adds the 'miss' at the last second, because it's only right to be polite to her now that she's a lady.]
I'm glad you didn't forget me. And you do look a little bit the same. Did you ever find your friend that we were searching for the last time I was here?
[ It would be so easy to take revenge right now, but she doesn't feel like she has to-- not with him as a child. However, she does remember something she thinks this one might like ]
I shan't keep you too long, then. There's a place nearby which I think you may like very much, though. It's in the garden here, and I've seen little rabbits and squirrels playing there. They'll approach you as well, you know. Would you like to pay them a visit until Cain arrives?
[ She's often taken Vivio to play with them, and she offers a kind smile, feeling the same sort of affection for this young Jezebel as she did for him when she was younger and cursed. ]
[It does not even occur to him to be wary - while he might be shy, he trusts her implicitly. As someone incapable of causing harm to anyone or anything living, he would never think anyone else would wish harm on him.]
May I...may I really see them? Oh, yes please! I really would like to pay them a visit.
[His smile is far more eager now, his expression truly happy.]
[ That innocence is almost heartbreaking to see, and she finds herself wondering what exactly Alexis did to corrupt him in his adulthood. It's none of her business, but seeing this-- it's enough to make her wonder. But it's easy to smile, and she chuckles a bit ]
Of course you may, Jezebel. They're your friends as much as mine, and my Vivio's. Vivio is around your age as well, and she loves playing with them too.
[ Straightening up, she extends a hand to him to take. ]
But don't tell too many people about them, alright? They're rather shy, so too many people visiting them might make them nervous.
You have a little girl? I'm glad she enjoys playing with them as well. Sometimes my sisters are a little bit scared of animals. I can't understand why!
[He takes her hand - it reminds him of when he held her hand when she was the younger of the two of them.]
Oh, I won't! My friends in the forest feel rather nervous if there are too many people around them as well. They like to be left to themselves. So most of the time I just sit and watch them.
Your sisters? Oh, it does take a little while, I imagine. But I'm sure the animals like having you around. Because really...
[ She gives his hand a light squeeze ]
The animals are just like us, aren't they?
[ Minnie was her first and only friend after all. And she leads him to the garden she mentioned, until they reach a peaceful little spring grove that seems to be secluded enough to be missed if one's not looking for it, where some birds and squirrels are already around. ]
Ah... it seems as though they were waiting for you too.
[ And she kneels down on the grass, extending a hand to pick a fallen daffodil and motions to a little baby bunny who is hiding behind a little bush, having jumped away when they entered. ]
[He smiles up at her happily, pressing her hand gently in return.]
Yes, they really are.
[He looks around in delight, wide eyed yet very quiet to make sure he doesn't startle them.]
Oh...thank you!
[Jezebel sits down next to her, keeping his movements slow. For now he just watches, staying still and waiting for the animals to come to him should they want to.]
Jezebel...?

We've met before. A long time ago, for me. I'm Megumi.

You remember me. I'm glad, Jezebel. I thought you wouldn't recognize me.
[ Chuckles then ]
I'm afraid I did grow up. I didn't forget you, though.

I did. She's safe at home where she ought to be. And I wouldn't have found her without your help as well, you know.
[ She looks somewhat resigned as she beckons him closer with a hand so she can touch his head. ]
I'm sorry I could not help you find Snark, though.

[He does move closer, but rather shyly, not as at ease with this Megumi as he was with the younger version of her.]
It's all right, he was home too when I returned, and very pleased to see me.

Then we both found who we were looking for, didn't we?
[ Moves her arm over her knee, watching him ]
You're not alone here, are you? I could stay with you for a bit, if you'd like. After all, I did enjoy spending time with you very much.

Yes...yes, we did.
[He keeps on smiling, looking at her curiously to try and see his young friend in this pretty, grown-up lady.]
Oh, no, not quite. I'm supposed to meet Cain, and then we're going to look for Miss Alexiel. But I'd like to stay with you for a while too.
