YAY CONFIRMATION EMAIL!! It would usually take six weeks for them to get it to me, but I sent them an email explaining that things were slightly more immediate than that (12th of December... ARGH! It'll be fine, it'll be fine... moving house organizing a wedding and having a baby all at the same time? Not a problem) so I should get it about a week

If I was marrying another goth I totally would, but I won't force my alternative fashion choices on him. Plus, you have no idea how hard it is to get something that is both maternity and black and suitable for a wedding dress.

He hasn't said anything, I've left him to his own devices on that side of things. So long as he doesn't clash with the flowers I'm happy enough. And he has got dress shoes, I've seen them. If he chooses not to wear them, that's fine. The enormous tantrum I throw will just be something he'll have to choose to endure.
