Syn climbed over Dante, to get out of bed. After grabbing her clothes for the day, she left the room and checked on Vergil. Seeing him still asleep, she headed onto the bathroom

Vergil stirred with a quiet sound at the knock, then sat up, blinking sleepily. Covering a yawn, he glanced briefly at Syn before lowering his eyes.

She frowned, "Vergil, please don't avert your eyes from me. You can look me in the eyes, I'm not better than you."

She walked in and handed him the cup, "Here. I'm going to sit here with you and enjoy my coffee."

She sat on the edge of the bed, reaching out and brushing his hair from his face.

"Did you sleep well?"

Vergil silently took the blood, nodding slightly at her question. He starting drinking quietly, staring off into the distance.

She watched him, sipping her coffee, Ifrit curled into her shoulder. She sighed, "What are you thinking?"
