I liked that. I guessed that it was in reference to Cody fairly quickly but then Astor's in there too - nice touch. I like the Astor isn't exactly the same but is a willing participant. Give it a couple more generations and Miami may have no criminals of any kind left on its streets!
Thanks so much sweetie, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't even know Dexter, so yeah... You're a big part of this side of my fangirlism =P
I like to think that Astor is a very protective big sister. And yeah, in a way Deb never can be, not that I blame her or anything, but I just had to put Astor in there because the way I see it, Astor's always there for Cody. =) *snuggle back*
Goodness, this is yummy. I read it when it was first posted, but silly me, never commented. Better late than never, right? This is just awesome. More more more please. I love bookverse fics, and they are just so rare.
Thank you so much for commenting, and I am so glad you liked it! Indeed, bookverse is very rare, which is a shame. I might write more when I read Dexter in the dark. Thanks again! =)
Oooh, definitely pick up Dexter in the Dark! It's a hell of a lot weirder than the others in terms of the main plot and narrative structure, but the stuff with Dex and the kids is just too awesome for words. :)

I always see Astor as a very protective sister, at least from the book's perspective.
Oh, first they take on Miami, then, the world! Wouldn't that be awesome?! =P
