for something that was going to be a low-key, nothing planned sort of event, cale's birthday ended up being the party of the century. ha. i always say that i won the boyfriend lottery, but this weekend i'm pretty sure that the World's Best Girlfriend award is going to yours truly

If you go to Tofino make sure to talk to the water taxi people. They can take you to a little island where you can camp overnight and there is a hotspring. It is awesome.

Ha ha! I was so happy that you came! You've got awesome dance moves! Ha. And cale LOVED Angelo! Lol. When I was trying to put him to bed he kept talking about how great you guys were and how being married must be so great when you're with the right person and on and on and on! Ha ha. I was worried he'd propose! Not exactly how I imagined it. Hee hee.

He was super surprised! Ha. He definitely hadn't expected so many people to come out just for him. :) I felt bad because they were mostly my friends that I've introduced him to recently, but they were all awesome about making it clear that they were there for HIM, not just my friends at my boyfriend's birthday party. I was really happy about the whole thing.

My schedule varies sometimes but for the most part I think they'll keep it the same. Right now I'm working mornings three days a week, so hopefully they'll bump me up to five days a week. And I should be getting a small raise on friday so that'll be nice. :)

If you like the pictures, wait until you see the video!!! Ha.

Ha ha, it was a really fun party. I can't believe I actually danced. Alcohol = social lubricant, for sure!

Any time you wanna hit up the comic shop, let me know! I need to get more Walking Dead anyway. Also: Free Comic Book Day fast approaches, my friend... as does the accompanying Buy Two Get One Free Sale! Save the Date! (First Saturday in May... the 2nd?)

And this summer I am going to request the Nintendo townhouse in Whistler for a weekend. It is only 75 bucks a night to rent, and it is three bedrooms--so I am hoping you guys can come, and maybe Ryan and Milena, or Lia and Angelo, and Mike, and maybe if I'm dating someone? That way, the cost is shared and totally manageable. Cheap fun weekend in Whistler! Let me know if you guys are interested and I'll looking into seeing what dates are free.
