We are in Amsterdam at present, and although the city is great, our stay here is not looking so good. Accomadation is extremely hard to come by, unless you are Daddy Warbucks or Richie Rich, and we are not either. So as of tomorrow, unless we pull osmething now, we have nowhere to sleep

I'm glad to hear you got high (respec) but get on a train quick stix and head to Berlin. It's less than a day on the train, and he accommodation is plenty and cheap but here's the rub ok...
Get your hands on a guitar (preferably acoustic...for minstrel vibes) and just start playing stuff at the hostel and this is what will happen.
US tourists who have just come from Amsterdam (with hash) will be all like "oh my god I love de-tuned guitars and stuff, here smoke my hash!"

I ended up sleeping in the train station with some gypsy folk (not under the same blanket so...) that's what the "Northern Lights" gear does.
Seriously though, good luck and don't let the situation get you down.
A little trick I like to use when I am abroad is: think of how Bilbo Baggins felt while walking all alone in the big forest with those MASSIF spiders and stuff? Ok.

I like to think of how Connor Hawke must have felt when he had to rescue the whole of the Justice League in thier sattelite base from the Trickster using only his father's old bag of novelty arrows.
