I'm having a heart attack right along with Ted there! His kids just cannot be allowed to continue to be that lame!!! Hehe.

Oh, and you NEED to continue this. I want to see the party!!!

Haha, we'll see if I have the energy/ideas to continue the story. I like to think that Barney had a crazy awesome party that went from Friday night and ended early Sunday morning (then they all went to brunch).

I know his kids on the show are just meant to be there for Future!Ted to tell his life story, but they seem so unenthused (is that a word?) about all the hilarious and brilliant stories he tells. I hope they don't end up being this lame on the show.

Haha. I'd have a heart attack, too, if my kids called Star Wars lame.

This was fun. I enjoyed it. Just a nitpick -- Regis hasn't been on the show for years. But, since he's so iconic, and he knows the gang, and Ted's not exactly a reliable narrator, and it's funny, it's all OK.

Me too, I love Star Wars. I get all twitchy when people bash it in real life.

Ah, see, I tried to sneak that one by... I just really don't like Meredith whatsherface who hosts the show now, and since the gang knows Regis, it just seemed to make sense to have him hosting. We can just pretend that he came back for a couple shows and Barney happened to be on one of them. :P

Glad you liked it despite my little departure from reality. ^_^

Great fic. That was so sweet. And hee at Ted's "heart attack" about his kids not liking Star Wars. Han/Leia is one of my OTPs.

Also, I love your icon because it's so true.

Thank you! Well, it's pretty obvious that not only does he love Star Wars, he secretly loves Han/Harrison Ford and wishes he was him. (I kinda think most guys who like Star Wars have a mancrush on HF.) Also, he was so upset when Stella didn't like Star Wars, I think he'd be devastated if his kids didn't like it.

Which icon? My Life is Overrated one? Hee. :)
