I now know a grand total of five people, this being elevated from a grand total of three. I went out drinking with a co-worker and her boyfriend on friday and spent most of Saturday suffering for it. I finally have a job; it's a decent one for once. I finally have a chance to save some money for traveling and school. At least I hope I do. I have internet. I am also in a different province. It's strange, I've lived near the ocean my entire life and suddenly I'm landlocked. Calgary is huge, by far the biggest city I have ever visited let alone lived in. I can't go three blocks without getting lost. Still no internet--this really is a sad state of affairs. I have to steal my boyfriend's computer just to check my e-mail. I still have no idea where I'm headed with my education 'though I'm gravitating towards a writing program. Still no internet. This isn't my computer. I feel cheated and horribly deprived (and depraved; but that's another story and I'm not sharing it).

My life is attempting to prove to me that asking for anything resembling advanced and organized scheduling is too much to expect. I am also denied internet (this is not my computer) and a working phone (outside of my "cell-phone of debt-incurring bills"). I now have no TV (a waste of time anyways) so I spend more time reading.
