Yeah, he is AP husband. He knows how to show it.

I was thinking the same thing, esp. with his "apologies to vikings" bullshit.

Because, you know, the Vikings were victims of slavery and genocide, and erased out of history, right?

Oh wait, no, they weren't. Maybe he's being "ironic".

Yeah, poor Icelander and Vikings! Native people being erased, oh, you SO took it out of context!

Oh wait, no, they weren't. Maybe he's being "ironic".

Well, I have heard his family really knows how to do that.

I'm so glad I don't follow him on Twitter or subscribe to his blog feed anymore.

I am so glad there is a deadbrowalking. This is a sanity-saving comm, especially on days when the racist idiotic comments are too much.

And Neil Gaiman said something racist? I am not surprised. Though it does amaze me that he can't just stop and take the easy out: oops, not my country, don't know what I'm talking about! it's the whole conviction that he knows enough to be expert in the first place, and that all important history is white history--it's a self-reinforcing circle of whiteness.

No words for the commenters. Just NO WORDS.

Telling someone brown they don't know how to read is what 'those people' do best. You are nothing. The person we are defending is everything and better than you - ergo - you can't read.
