2. If you want to join deadbrowalking please send an email to deadbromods @ gmail.com with answers to the following questions: Why do you want to join the community? What do you feel you can contribute? Do you identify as a person of color/nonwhite? Remember, you MUST include your lj user name for us to add you.
Also, if there is someone who is currently a member who can vouch for you that would be helpful but it is by no means a requirement.
3. Since we expect a lot of responses, it will take a while for us to go through the emails we receive.
4. Please remember that this community is intended as an advanced level discussion space for people of color and allies to discuss race and representation in scifi, horror, and fantasy. It is not intended solely for educating people about race and representation. If you have just become aware of issues of race and representation in scifi and fantasy and wish to know more, you may be better served at racism_101 or fight_derailing.
5. Mod decisions are final. This means that if we do not approve your membership, emailing us to complain about it won't work. We're hard. We used to not be, but then we started modding...
