deadbrowalking is closed and will continue to remain so for a while. The community has attracted a lot of interest of late but experience has made it clear that a point in time like this is pretty much the worst time to open a safe space community and still maintain it as a safe space

Hi, this question comes more from ignorance of LJ-etiquette than the other kinds of ignorance: I've been watching this community for a year or so now, but not as a member, and not commenting. Is it all right if I continue to do that? I know this community isn't intended for the education of white people but it is having that useful side effect in my case. But is it okay if I just continue to lurk?
