OK so y'all were napping, so I had to find out that Kevin Grevioux is a howard grad microbiology major turned writer on my own *huffs*, who apparently is writing a series specifically dealing with race and stuff for Marvel.

DC came out with a similar story a couple years back from writer John Ridley. It was called The American Way. Pretty good stuff.

Nah. I just stopped reading mainstream superhero comics. It's cut down on the number of black female characters I come across. Though on the bright side, I don't have to deal with seeing any jacked up depictions of black women in comics anymore.

Have you ever listened to the commentary for Underworld? He's one of the people doing it (he and Len Weisman, I think), and they have some great things to say about the movie. If he's writing comics too? They're going to be awesome.
