I have been away, trying to keep up with LJ and wanting to post about various things. I hope to do that soon, but I just wanted to pop in and say that:
a) I am still alive, and;
b)
halfshellvenus has a

I think I'll be doing all my posting during the amnesty period. I prefer to think of these things as something fun just to do. :)
Yes, that's what I'm thinking now, too. My plan all along was to use the prompts for warm up ficlets before writing more of my big fic, and I still plan on doing that. :)
I hope that you're doing well. *hugs*

We're pretty much just watching Netflix DVDs of cable shows we haven't seen before (finished "The Shield," caught up on "Doc Martin" until new discs are released, tried "The Closer" (win!), still trying "The Wire" (hmmmm... jury's still out), will probably get to "Mad Men" or "Breaking Bad").
Marthapants is quite fluffy, though unfortunately I can't see his hind legs (the "pants" part) in that photo!

You're welcome, although I know it's a bit late now. But I'm glad to hear that you found a buyer.

How are you finding "The Shield"? I've never heard of "Doc Martin"; is it about leather boots? ;) And please keep going with "The Wire"; how far along with it are you? I know the first ep was like a laying down of a gauntlet, but man, was that show amazing. I watched all five seasons earlier this year, and miss having it to watch!

I know! I'm sorry. I didn't take that picture; a friend did, and she didn't realise the importance of the pants. Hee. Anyway, I assure you, thy are very fluffy. Also, he's still not at full fluff, as he was shaved in the spring. He's getting there, though. :)

"Doc Martin" is about an extremely stuffy London surgeon who develops a sudden phobia about blood, and is forced to shift his practice. He goes to a small town in Cornwall to become the local physician, and what with his Asperger-level social skills and his complete lack of a sense of humor or anything resembling patience, a nicely quirky comedy show results. There are two seasons on DVD thus far (the show is into S4), and the locals are still randomly saying "Tosser!" at him as he goes past. And he deserves it ( ... )

Also, that kitty pic = <3
Yay! I know it might be silly, but it makes me happy when other people take to my Martha. Somehow, I went from mocking silly cat ladies to becoming a deeply devoted one in only a few months. He really wore me down, that Pants. :D
